Do we need a passport to go to to Gurnsey ,Jersey, scilly etc from uk?

No they count as the UK.

You don't need one for entry to those places, however, if you are flying you may need an official form of identity to board the plane (passport or ID card). So make sure you check if/when you book.

Last time I flew from London to Manchester I needed mine- as picture identification...(I'd completely not thought about this, and it was totally by chance I had it...)
I think, therefore, you don't need a passport as such, but you do need photo id of some kind.

no but you will need alternative photo id such as a driving licence for any adults.

I know a freind of mine never had a passport because she only went to Jersey for her holiday but she said she had to get one last time she went.
