What type of disney park tickets to get

Hi off to Florida in late august and will be stopping at a disney resort with hubby and 11 and 9 year old. Everything sorted except the theme park tickets. Does anybody know where to get the cheapest and what type are the best to get? Thanks

if you go on www.thedibb.co.uk there is some excellent advice there. We went for the first time this year and got the 14 day ultimate which was perfect for us.

Hiya, We found them much cheaper to buy there from the Transportation and Ticket Center if you want anything other than the standard 7 or 14 days tickets.

We bought a 5 day pass (didn't need 7 days) and saved quite a bit.

We have a 14 day pass for a fortnight's holiday. We bought them at the same time as booking. We will also buy tickets for Space Centre and Universal's two parks when we are there. Not sure if doing Seaworld yet.

We always buy a pass fror the whole time as the cost is very little difference and it gives us complete flexibility. We do spend almost all our time in one park or the other anyway - trying to get DD out of them is the challenge, lol! The Disney tickets also include entry to the water parks as well.

We go again in about 5 weeks and really looking forward to it

Thanks everyone, we only want 6/7 days and found a reasonable magic your way ticket (for 4 days) with added water parcs (an extra 3 days). It does say it saves a bit on disney entry price and you get an extra day free so think it looks a good deal. Cannot wait, just hope there's no hurricanes!

Bear in mind that because of the heat it is unlikely you'll want to spend more than half a day at a time in a water park. The amount of shade is limited and it gets very hot and busy.

Make sure the 4 days park entrance is flexi so you can "hop" between parks ont eh same day.

I am jealous...just returned for Florida last week. We had a great time, much better than expected.

Anyway we did a week in Orlando (followed by a week on the Gulf coast) and the best ticket we could find was with Virgin (booked our accommodation through Virgin too). We had a 7 day flexi ticket which included all the Disney parks plus the waterparks, we still had a day left on the ticket when we left. This was plenty for us and quite resonable, although I can't remember exactly how much it cost.
