Can you help please, travel advice to Belgium?

Im trying to find out how much validity you need left on a passport to travel to Belgium. We are travelling in July and my DD passport expires in September.

I have looked at the passport website and it says to look at the Belgian Passport website, which I did now it says as advice that you need 6 months left on it but when you click on the link it then says as long as it doesnt run out whilst your away.

Anyone have any experience of this?

I have done Germany with 9 days left - I wouldn't worry about it, they are much more relaxed about these things than the official line.

why not renew now so you don't have that worry (it is what I have just done for DS).

Thanks, think I might re-new just incase. I would hate to miss out going.

It says the passport must be valid for the duration of the visit.
