Flying and Hydrocephalus

Dd (5) has hydrocephalus, she had a shunt fitted when she was 4 months old, she has also had one shunt revision two years ago. We are due to go on our first holiday abroad later this year ,the flight is four hours long, im just wondering if any parent has had experiance of this and could give me some advice on the possible side effects(if any)and if i may have a problem with her insurance.
