Looking for somewhere to meet up with friends in Albufeira in Portugal

We're going on hols to Portugal this summer and it turns out that two other families are in the same area at the same time so we thought we'd meet up.

Where in Albufeira would be good - there will be children aged from just 3yrs up to about 8yrs so we're looking for something that caters for all ages and activities.

We met up with friends at a water park, it was called Slide and Splash. Plenty for little one, and for the older children too.
Lots of grassy areas where picnics can be eaten.

I much prefer it to Aqualand which is the other big water park you see advertised on the Algarve.
