Park Albatros, Tuscany - info & ideas for days out with a toddler

We're going to Park Albatros in a couple of weeks with 2.8yo DD. Any ideas for days out or other useful info about the park would be much appreciated. Me and DH like the idea of doing the wine routes or going to Pisa or Sienna, but not sure they would be much fun with a toddler!

We will have a car BTW.

Thanks in advance...

choppy - we opted for le piannace instead last year which is quite close to where you are going - and we are going back this september. dd was 2.2 last year.

Siena we thought would be too far, as it is all through windy roads. Pisa would be more doable because you can take the motorway up the coast. He will LOVE the beach and want to spend all day if anything like dd. Perhaps hiring bikes with a child s seat one day and exploring - the roads weren't too busy in September, so they may be ok in June. There are loads of beuatiful hilltop towns with lovely churchs and 'towers' which dd liked (and the icecreams that came as part of the outing!) Some of the becah resorts along that stretch of coast are set up for families and have appropriate activities.

We managed to get to Lucca (about an hour each way I think) and that was beautiful.

Thanks notyummy. We looked at Piannace too, but went for Albatros as it's closer to the beach. Will let you know how we get on!
