Portaventura - is it worth it with a 3yr old and a 19mth old?

We're off to Spain next week and Portaventura is going to be about an hour away from where we're staying. Is it worth the (extortionate) entrance fee to take 3yr old and 19mth old boys? I really hate water parks and don't like getting wet, so is there lots of other stuff to do for kids so small?

Bounce! Heading to Cambrils with a 5 year old and a 2 year old. Is it worth buying Portaventura tickets before we go? And what about the water parks?

I went to Portaventura on my own with 6,7,9 and 10 yr olds a few years ago.The older ones had a great time, including 7yr old who is very tall for his age.But I had a frustrating time with 6 yr old who was too short for most of the exciting things and considered herself too old for the "little ones" rides. She also got bored and tired as we waited for the others to queue and did not stay awake for the evening fireworks. I'd say 5 and 2 is a bit small to get the most out of it,although there are boats and fairly tame things you could all do together,I think you could find stuff like that without going to such a crowded expensive place where most things are for older kids.

We've stayed at Portaventura twice, but our children are teenagers . I would say it would be a waste of your money if your children are small.

A lot of the rides are for older kids & are quite scary (!),so no,I'm afraid it would be a waste of money.
The water park has a lot of more extreme stuff too, but there are areas for younger children & it isn't too expensive. Can't remember prices off-hand as it was 2 years ago that we were there.
