Le Garangeoire

We're planning to go to Le Garangeoire in the Vendee for a week end of June. We've got pretty similar prices for Eurocamp, Keycamp or booking a chalet directly with the campsite. Can anyone who has been before give us any advice concerning the location of these various options within the site. It looks as though the campsite chalets are in a nice woody bit but it's hard to tell really. I'm not really worried about distance from pools etc but more about having attractive surroundings and preferably not being able to see right into the window of the next door van from every angle. Any comments or advice very gratefully received. Thanks

I think their own ones are all mixed in with the ones owned by other companies so not in one particular place iyswim. I think most of them are in the quieter parts of the site though - from what I remember it was mainly Keycamp, etc in the bit closest to the pools/bar.

Generally they are laid out so that your front door & outside seating area faces the back of the next one so you are not overlooked from that side but obv you will have people in the row opposite and walking past, etc

We stayed in one of their own mobile homes last year and we probably had the best pitch on the site - were in a corner so no one on the "front" side. It was lovely sitting out in the evening trying to spot wildlife in the trees opposite.

Its luck of the draw I think, we went with keycamp last year and their reps were terrible, wheras the eurocamp reps were great. Most brits were with keycamp or eurocamp and they combined the kids club, there is a seperate site run kids club that you can use as well. Lovely site would definately go back.
