has anyone been to Bradenton Beach in florida?

Looking at this for christmas/new year this year and would love to hear anyones experiences.

We were near there - on Anna Maria island. That was lovely. We were there mid December a few years ago and the children swam in the sea. I think we were a couple of weeks ahead of the snowbirds (the older Americans who decamp to Florida) so it was lovely and quiet too.

We stayed in Bradenton on the second week of our Florida holiday last year. It is a lovely place and the beach on nearby Anna Maria Island is one of the most beautiful I have ever visited.

We stayed on anna maria island year, a place called Cedars Cove. Right on beach-fab and would recommend it to anyone. Can check it out on their website.

Lovely Place....definitely worth going to the beaches are soooo beautiful and very quiet, so lovely for the kids (i.e not keeping your eyes glued to them)!

Depends what your going for, you'll have to travel to do other kiddie things.
