Our first visit this year as we normally do the Northampton one but it's not on this year!
Does anybody know how much car parking is on the day? The website says £7 for pre-bookable parking and I was just wondering how worthwhile this would be.
Also how bad does the traffic get? We will be staying in the centre of town so it might be worth trying to use public transport- what do you think?

Anyone?

Hiya

The traffic does get congested around peak times. I am pretty sure the Clifton Suspension Bridge gets shut so you can only access the area from either end of the A369.

I paid £6 last year, the good thing is that the ticket lasts the day so you can drive on and off site.

Thanks! So would we be able to drive from the city centre without any problems then? Unsure as to where the Clifton Bridge is?

Yes, you would be going round the river rather than up and over the bridge though.

If you tupe Clifton Suspension Bridge into Google Maps you will see that it joins Clifton to Leigh Woods and Ashton Court is to the left of that.

Depending on where you are staying, you would probably take the A4 along Hotwells, then the A370 for one junction before filtering onto the A369. It will be signposted with yellow signs
