Can anyone recommend any hotels in Cardiff? DD, her boyfriend and I are travelling down to the British Long Course swimming championships soon and need a hotel near to the International Pool.

The Angel Hotel is where all the pop stars stay when gigging at the Millenium Stadium.

The Big Sleep looks OK, and is really close to everything too.

I've never stayed in a hotel in Cardiff over night, because I could always get home easily when I've gone there for any reason. I hope you find somewhere nice.

There's the St Davids but it's quite expensive. I got a good deal there via lastminute.com in 2006, you might get something similar.
