Broadstairs

We are thinking of going to Broadstairs on BH Monday. I last went years ago, can anyone remember what the name of the famous ice cream parlour is? Any advice on what to do when we get there, we're travelling by train. Thankyou.

Morellis?

How old are your DC? We love Broadstairs, DD (4) is happy to spend all day sandcastling it on the beach, a donkey ride and a go on the swingboaty things at the far end of the beach (don't know if they're up atm, we tend to go in high summer).

There's also some nice green spaces above the beach for football/running around, but apart from that I don't think there's a huge amount to do that's not beach-related...

One thing I would say is that the cafes and restaurants tend to close at 4.30ish which for us is a pain as that's usually when we're ready to leave the beach and sit down with a coffee!

Have fun!
