looking to book a long weekend at the end of our euro disney stay and was trying to compare Les bois france and le lac d'ailette. the former had some poor reviews but mainly about the accomodation and all back in 2007 with the suggestion that villsas were being upgraded. We are flying out of Paris Beauvais so that is also a factor as don't want too long a drive. Les bois france is currently coming up cheaper at the moment but also want a good stress free break so wondered if anyone had any advice recommendations

Also wondered if there was anywhere else in the vincinity that any one would recommend.

thanks

We have stayed in Les Bois Francs a couple of years ago in a brand new villa. (number 745). It was advertised as a 2 bedroom Premier Villa (BF228). I think the new villas are numbered in the 700s, 800s and 900s. The accommodation was lovely and very clean with jacuzzi bath and LCD TV. The kitchen had a dishwasher and microwave/grill. If you want to be sure of booking a new villa then book BF228. There are also larger new style villas but I don't know the code. Hope that helps.

We have stayed at both, driving from the UK both times. I would say that Les Bois is at least 2-3hrs south of Paris. If you want to combine DLP and a CP I would do Lac d'Ailette which is only an hr away and on the right side of Paris for DLP as well. (We combined a week at this CP with a day trip to Parc Asterix which is also nearby DLP)

can't remember what side of Paris Beauvais is (but i think its north-east?) but either way lac d'ailette is the closer CP to Paris.

Les Bois is a lot older than Lac d' Ailette and was in need of a tidy up when we were there in 2004.
