Impossible mission to find perfect hols - any suggestions?

Looking for an 'upmarket' holiday village in Europe, near the beach and not incredibly noisy while having decent facilities and ideally kids club - something boutiquey where you can mingle if you like but it's not forced on you!
We've always gone for a 3+ bed villa with private (ideally gated) pool and sea views in picturesque village/small town location.
We've never gone in the summer hols before now and prices are a shocker.
Any suggestions v gratefully received or we may be staying in Blighty. For DH, DD's 3 and 5 and myself who is most in need of it.

Have never been but sounds like you need the Forte Village in Sardinia?

Neilson are very good for not forcing the mingling, but have absolutely fantastic kids clubs. Their Anastasia Resort in Halkidiki has a fab spa, and their free optional activities include water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, etc.

Danceaway, Style holidays have a lovely complex that we are going to next week, in Portugal, its called Joinal Villas in the Vale de Parra area. Fab reviews on tripadvisor. Bloody bargain it was too!!

Neilson v good (no NE flights though), also Mark Warner and Club Med, some very good properties in Lanzarote too. If you want to send me a message feel free, I work as a SAHM (and a travel agent in my spare time)

Hmm we've stayed at Monte da Quinta in the Algarve which meets those requirements, no sea views though but the Kids Club is good. Otherwise in the Algarve, Vila vita Parc Resort & Spa or Pine Cliffs Resort both offer villas within a hotel resort and kids clubs but are v. pricey. Martinhal Resort further west in Sagres will be more reasonable though look here

Sunsail/Neilson are also excellent (have done Sunsail) they offer a lot of activities you may not want to pay for - although you don't have to do any of them and no one pressures you into doing anything either! Again they are v. expensive in school hol time.

On the cheaper side, Simply Travel in Mousses or Crete are great, they have small resorts of self-catering villas and run their own Creche and Kids CLubs onsite, we have done them 3 times and always had a fab hol. But availability might be lacking now.

Pierre et Vacances? We stayed at Les Restanques de St Tropez here a couple of years ago. Good kids clubs, and excellent pools, including a quieter one for grown ups only. We had a 2 bedroom villa which was really a terraced house with a small garden.

The surrounding area is beautiful - trips to Port Grimaud, St Tropez, Gassin, Ste Maxime etc.
