portugal anyone??

i have been looking 2 go 2 portugal, we normally go 2 benidorm as we know the kids can go to the strip till about 12, we want 2 go 2 portugal but want the same kinda thing, does anyone know if we can do this, our kids will be 11, 12 and 4??

It may depend on where in Portugal you are thinking of going. We are going to North Portugal in August and have not been before, but from the information we looked at before we booked it seems to be a quiet, untouristy sort of place.

I think there may be places on the Algarve which are more lively but I couldn't really say as I haven't been there.

Portgual (even the quieter bits) seems to be similar to Spain in that children are welcome until quite late - that sort of culture.

The Algarve is nice I have been to Praia de luz and it was very nice, not as lively as Benidorm though.

Montechoro has a strip like that, children very welcome, one or two pubs have bouncy castles and so on! It's near Albufeira.
