Daft question, but I'm going to ask it anyway......

Does Cornwall exist anywhere abroad?

Normally go to Cornwall for our hols, like the coastal paths and small coves and beaches. DD (1) loves rock pools, playing with the sand and paddling.

This year, due to DH's work commitments, we can't go away til November, which I think rules a Cornish beach holiday out. I'm not keen on the "Brits abroad" version of Tenerife/Costas/Magaluf etc, but was wondering if the quieter parts of these places might be suitable?
All the pics I see of beaches here are of long strips of sand with sun loungers, not quite the Cornish coves..... anyone know if they exist anywhere?
Thanks

Brittany and the western Algarve. I went to a village right on the western end of Algarve (can't remember what it is called) and it was just like Polzeath with tapas!

DH went to Normandy earlier this year, he reckons it's exactly like Cornwall. Not sure about beaches though, dh's job involves farming so he could tell you all about how the soil is the same and they grow the same crops etc etc but I doubt he's seen a beach in either place. [spectacularly unhelpful emoticon]

Ooooh, the Algarve option sounds good (sure Normandy and Brittany are too, but November might be a bit chilly...), especially as I can get there from East Mids
If you remember what it's called itsjustaphase, please let me know
thanks
