HELP!! We want to go somewhere (anywhere) hot for a few days in half term and.....

cannot find any cheap flights! How on earth do people just jet off to Spain etc? I haven't found a thing for less than £250 each.

It's a nightmare isn't it?

We looked at going somewhere hot last half term. There was a £2000 difference in the cost of the flights compared with the week before.

In fact, it's only he who wishes to go somewhere and I latched on to the idea pronto because usually he's only interested in going camping in Wales - suggest Cornwall to him and he looks pained!

He just wouldn't. I've asked him before, and he wrinkles his nose a bit and says no. I think he hasn't updated his brain since about 1976 when punk came in.

We love Croatia and DH is known for never wanting to go to the same place twice, nor stay in the same city for more than 3 days at a time.

Still...I know about men and their time warp brains. Dh's mind is still stuck in the 80s at the height of his slim hipped goth youth.

Ha, DH has still got his 70s punk jeans and t-shirt in the misguided apprehension that he could still get into them if he wanted to They'd just about fit dd!

been looking for flights to visit my niece in gran caanria next week. for ds and i it was coming up £700+ up until monday. has now gone down to £400 so ive booked it and ive stopped looking. just in case in goes lower an then i kick myself.

really need some beach time thought.

Ah, maybe I'll leave it until tomorrow then, and have another look. We can't go anywhere until Monday eve so could wait until Monday am! DH is resigned to staying here and dd is arranging for everyone she has ever spoken to to come over during half term

Maybe I'll just go away myself, much cheaper!
