Has anyone ever upgraded on arrival at Eurocamp type place?

We are going to the Loire in half term for 11 nights and have booked a tent. I've now got very cold feet about going in a tent and have asked about an upgrade. But it will cost the same again to upgrade to a mobile as the current holiday cost,so that's out of the question!

So I'm now wondering if it's possible to upgrade on arrival - availability dependent of course.

Obviously, I'm really looking forward to going whatever, so staying in a tent won't be an issue - a mobile might just be a bit nicer!

not done it but did ask the reps and they had to contact the head office to get a price, which was the same as the brochure price IIRC.

We did, we asked if they had anything else available as the mobile we had booked was smaller than I expected. They were really helpful and showed us around a few different ones. It didn't cost much to do it on site, I think only around £30 (in 2007).
