Does anyone know of a place abroad that i would feel safe in, travelling alone, i like sun and relaxation.

If you don't want to go too far, then Malta is good.
Only a small island, English is a second language there and you can go across to Gozo or Comino on the little ferry to explore.

Or the Canaries, the larger islands are good if you are happy with mass tourism, but do have areas away from the tourism - such as the north of Gran Canaria.
There are also the smaller islands La Palma, El Hierro and La Gomera have the same weather and much less tourism.

I used to be a holiday rep there and its a wonderful place.

Are you thinking of Europe or somewhere further afield?

Menorca is lovely and I have been there alone and felt very safe.

I have also been to Cuba by myself. Apart from the attention of the men which is more annoying than uncomfortable it always felt very safe too.
