What size ? Have done an infant seat and a booster cushion, both of which went as hand luggage.

Its for 2 year old , we have a Britax first class seat. Their website says you can take it for child to sit in on plane if elss than 42cm, ours appears to be about 44 cm

Sorry don't know then - noone has ever measured ours but then we haven't used a fitted forward facing one, so may not apply. How long is the flight, could you just put it in the hold as oversized baggage instead and let him use the main seat ?

We did, but they weren't happy about it and made us check it on the way back. Ds was 3 and they only allow them for children under 3. Ours is pretty big and no one was worried about measuring it, just asking how old ds was.
In any case, it doesn't count towards your allowance if you check it.

Thanks, i was hoping it would be ok to use on plane to avoid it counting to luggage allowance as DS is only 2 we should be OK then

I would send them an email or call and double check that the rules haven't changed. It was a year ago that we did our trip.
