London days out/activities for toddlers - completely out of ideas

Can anyone recommend good activities for families with older babies and toddlers in London? I have a 16-month-old DD and really struggle for new things to do with her. I find everything is geared to slightly older children i.e.g 3years or more.

Any suggestions welcome i.e. activities geared towards DD herself or good places for whole families that also have facilities for wee kids. Even restaurants with soft play areas because there seems to be a real lack of them near where I live

Useful websites/magazines/books all v welcome.

Thanks, ladies

Kew Gardens and Woburn Safari park went down well with my 2, albeit a bit older (2 and 4).

whereabouts in London? I lived in East London and spent lots of time at Mudchute farm right from when my dd was very young. The Docklands Museum has a soft play area for littlies to.

Sorry posted this and then wasn't able to check it for a couple of days. We're in North London but East London is quite feasible. Will look into those two ideas
