hi there. we are going on 23rd july. how are you getting there?

we are flying and then either getting a train/taxi to the site.

would be really interesting in any feed back as am a bit nervous of going there. usually we go the same site in france every year.

we are going 13th june to another site, then driving down to this one on the 18th then flying home from ciampino on the 25th, i have stayed in many sites in italy. we have booked through vacanzesoliel as its the cheapest operator. went with them last year and had no probs at all. i can give you an update when i return if you like, maybe give you some good pointers. if you want me too then let me know your email add.

Camp Fabulous* ?! Sounds like Center Parks are opening a new resort in Brighton.

Seriously, Camp Fabulous, who thinks of these names ?!

Hi I am going to this camp on the 15th July and having a little panic about it. If anyone could let me know what it is like and any top tips I would be very grateful. I am hitting the big 40 whilst there, travelling with my hubby and 5 kids so really don't want any unexpected surprises !!

well anyone want an update on camping fabulous. got back from there today

I don't know about the site, but Rome is BRILLIANT! Our children loved it, but we didi loads of reading about Romans etc beforehand....

We stayed in a very cheap and somewhat nasty hotel, but as we were only there to sleep (even went out for brekkie) it was fine.

There's SO much to do.

We want to go back. It was better than paris!

we went a couple of years ago, stayed in a mobile home with vacance soleil I think, nice site, decent shop, massive italian tent village which has to be seen to be believed! Pool is good but beware the constant water aerobics. Worst thing for me was the booming musc from the twice weekly (I think) disco. There is a bus from jsut outside the site taking you into Rome

its not like that now, this site is brand new, your prob thinking of ipini just north of rome

no I'm not thinking of ipini, because I haven't been there, I have however been to camping fabulous, which may well have been done up since we were there in 2007
