Suncream for babies

Hello, I'm new to this site so apologies if it's in the wrong topic!

Can anybody offer advice on whether it's safe to use suncream on small babies and if so, what is recommended? I've looked at childrens suncream but they don't contain age information. We're considering a sun holiday in a few months time (baby will be around 4-6 months) but am also thinking/hoping we might have a hot summer here... Many thanks.

go to boots (or indeed any other chemist) and you'll find special kiddy sun creams - most are fine from about 3 months on . The general advice though is to keep little ones out the sun , wear sun hats, sunglasses, swimming sunsuits.

I got a load of factor 50 there for dd when she was a bit older admittedly -teh worse thing is trying to put it on them (a bit like greasing up an eel).
