We are due to go to Orlando for three weeks in July and are really looking forward to it. We have a 13 month old baby and a five year old. A couple of people have commented to me on how they wouldn't go at the moment because of the swine flu and it has got me worrying a little bit. Firstly about the long flight but more about the sheer volume of people all in one place. There are literally tens of thousands of people everyday going through the disney parks. I have just googled 'Swine flu Florida' and it says that the suspected cases there have gone from 2 to 23 in the last week. There are also mentions of it at Disney. I know that we are not going until july and by then it will have probably all gone away it's just that we have to pay for it this weekend so need to make the decision this week. I really was ok about it until people asked me if it was wise to take the children there and I am now getting a little bit unsure about it as I of course don't want to do anything that would put them at risk. Would really appreciate any thoughts x

If you don't want to go give your tickets to me and I'll go

Honestly, I wouldn't let it stop me TBH.

We are going to Orlando on 31 may and I am slightly worried about Swine Flu. I think we will still go but it has taken the excitement out of it a bit. I haven't checked the sitution with insurance, have you?

We're going in June. It's our last holiday as just a family of 3, so no way am I cancelling.

23 cases of swine flu, out of how many people living & visiting Florida? How many cases have their been in the UK? I personally think there's as much chance of catching it walking around any large city in the UK as there is catching it in Florida/Disney.

It doesn't bother me at all.

I am off to New York in just under 2 weeks, and then to Disney World in 2 months.

I can't wait. Nothing like this is going to spoil our fun!

Don't forget - we have our share of swine flu here in the UK too. Have you stopped letting your children go out and about here?
