Any tips on finding Costa Brava or Pyrenees self-catering accommodation?

Have found cheap flights to Girona, but having trouble finding somewhere to stay. Any recommendations or advice would be very welcome. TIA

Have you tried Holiday Rentals? Depends on when you want to go, but if tied to school hols and wanting specific things/facilities/low prices, you may it's there's not a great deal of choice now in the main Costa towns. If you are happy to look further out, and be a car ride from beaches, shops, major amenities, you may be luckier. Flexibility will be the thing

Don't mind a big resort - DH & I went to Playa D'Aro once, having caught the bus from theairport, and quite enjoyed it. Would be great not to have to hire a car.

Owners direct website is good - loads of choice and the availability is shown, you can search by area/ resort/ number of beds etc. You can haggle a bit on price a lot of the time too.
