Have you ever stayed at a Yelloh resort in Brittany? I would really appreciate your comments.

We have stayed with Siblu before and wondered if they are similar / better or just totally different.

Thank you for your feedback

I have and they were much nicer than the Siblu site we stayed at!

We have just booked Le ranolien, have nt been there before but have been to other yelloh sites, no complaints at all , have been clean and well thought out.

Yes, les mouettes a couple of years ago. It was very nice site, only gripe was that the pool was freezing. I'd say there was a greater mix of nationalities - dutch, german, french - than you would perhaps find on a siblu site.

Oh I don't like cold pools. I thought there would be a more 'cosmopolitan' mix and am happy with that, just hoping the facilities are good. Thank you for your replies.

I am just waiting to hear back if there's room for us at a couple of different places at the end of August. I couldn't get a place at Ranolien Maggie hope you have a lovely time maybe you could report back and I'll try to book a bit earlier next year!

....have been to La Plage in Guilvinec for the last three years.

It is easy to get to, safe for urchins, and has an enormous and splendid beach adjacent. There are good enough pools (a new one built last year) and play areas...

...it is also cheap.

Going to a slightly more expensive camp near Benodet this year. Change is due, else I will turn into my late MIL, doddering to the same Bournemouth hotel every year since Clem Attlee was PM....

Oh retired goth - that's interesting about the pool at la plage. One of the only things that let it down for us when we went. What's the new one like? Also the fact that they closed the campsite down on us 2 days before the end of our hol!!! All the Camping Life reps left and us and another family were the last ones standing!!! Admit tho the location is excellent!

Which site you going to this year?

Sorry for hijack!

...the old pool is now covered, so usable in the (frequent) Breton rain. Adjacent to it, where a play area used to be, is now a raised deck area with a large open air pool.

It is much improved...

Going to L'Atlantique at Beg Meil this year. Have been to the adjacent beach a couple of years ago, the area is quietly pleasant, a little less isolated than La Plage....

...as to the site closing, I actually rather like the end of season vibe, and normally try to make our return home as late as possible....

Managed to book my holiday but not going to Yelloh now (not because of comments or anything). 2nd week is at Cap Coz that's not where you're talking about is it retiredgoth2?
