Crap pound - does that now make Scandinavia seem less expensive?

Always fancied Sweden but being only able to afford a beer a week has put me off. Is it still a dear country compared to UK?

Crap pound will now move the price of a beer from very expensive to eyewateringly expensive.

A beer will cost around 50kr, at todays rate it's just over 4 pounds?

Obviously the further out of a major city you go the cheaper it will be, but Sweden isn't the kind of place you would go to to get roaring drunk.

However, the alcohol available to buy at the off licences are pretty reasonable.

I suppose it is rather expensive, but not as much as people first think.

Well, drinking lots of beer isn't really my motive for wanting to go to Sweden. Honestly. WAs just using it as a benchamrk. But £4.00 just sounds like London prices really.

If the prices in London don't scare you, then I think you'll be fine here.

And it is worth the trip, trust me
