we're going to newquay in june. dd will be 3.1 and i'll be nearly 5 months pregnant.

Haven't been there pregnant, but always found Center Parcs good for relaxing. Have been with DCs when they were 2, 3, 6 and 9 and they had a ball too - lots of fresh air, open space, water.....

it's the "needs occupying" bit that I'm with you on.

I'm 8 months pg - dd is 3:10 and always needs occupying.

What about self catering farmstay by the sea?

What's your budget?

Somewhere like Bedruthan Steps would be fab if you can afford it.

andiem · 05/05/2009 12:18

I was going to suggest bedruthan steps as well or luxury family hotels

As above - depends on budget. I have been to some of the Luxury Family Hotels and they are variable - but the newest one (The Elms) is fab:

You get a 10% discount via Mumsnet. If you can go during the week and during term time it gets much cheaper. Also, there is one of the 'standard' rooms that has a another small bedroom as an annex (ideal for a small child) - and it costs the same as the other standard ones. You just have to ask - and then you can get a room to yourself!

Thanks all. I think we've decided on CP!

The idea is that I veg out for a week and dp gets run ragged by ds!
