What do I need to know?

Rough Guide talks about needing spare specs, a yellow coat, triangle...

And all sorts of complicated rules about junctions and who has priority. I'm getting confused.

Will it all make sense when I get there?

The lightbulb thing is still bothering us. DH is adamant that they're £80 a time and in theory, shouldn't need replacing.

Conflicting information all over the place. Halfords say two hi vis jackets, AA advice is one. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit only recommended.

What I also don't get is what you're supposed to have in your first aid kit. Will a green box with a couple of sticking plasters and some germolene do? (not going to get you very far if you have a car crash...)
