Looks like a ridge to me with the highest point on the left and a smaller peak to the right and the ground sloping away either side (north and south), so 1 big hill really

Re read our instructions and it said named hills so we have done that. Now looking for named bays and coves and cant see any.

You have to zoom out to see the coastline.

It is only for that section of the map, have found the coordinates we need.

Well, there aren't any bays or coves on the linked section.

Hi, I know EXACTLY where you are on this map, (your arrow). I have spent 15 yrs of summer hols in corfe castle, just down the road, what are you EXACTLY wanting to know. The smaller together the lines, the steeper the hill. The wider the gap between the lines(called contour lines) the easier the steepness (if theat makes sense!!) Are you planning a walk? If you zoom to 1:25,000 it'll show the names of the major bays. Let me know if you need some more specific info. Last summer I walked along the coast from St Aldhelm's west up to Kimmeridge Bay, past the re-sited Clavells tower. Beautiful coast walk, with FAR too much up & down for my liking!!LOL!!

We are hunting for a geocache, so need an exact spot. It was a clue based in that part of the map.It is near grange arch.

I knew about the contour lines but was finding it hard to see where one hill ended and another started, as it is a ridge.
