Car hire at Barcelona airport

We fly to Barcelona terminal A and want to hire a car. All the car hire companies seem to be in terminal B. Are the terminals linked and does anyone have any recommendations for car hire companies?

we used holidayautos at b. airport and they were fine. if we did it again we'd hire a sat nav as instead of driving north we ended up on motorway to Tarragona and hand to double back n ourseves

If you plan to drive inside BCN city, you need to know 3 things: 1) Southern europe drive style 2)No parking 3)no parking.
BCN airport is big but not THAT big, you can easily walk with a trolley from A to B to C.

Can't help with car hire companies . the lonyplanet has the classics, hertz, avis... and a www.pepecar.com, which has not an office at the airport but in an hotel close by. Never heard of them, just giving the lonely planet tip, no guarantee

Terminals Aand B are effectively two ends of the same building.

You won't have a prob, it's a walk of maybe 200 yards from the A end to the B end.

We're going back for 5th time in a couple of weeks. I love Barca!
