Organic Whole Cow's Milk in Greece

PolkaDotRachel · 30/04/2009 16:31

My friend is going to Greece (Zante) next week and is wondering whether full fat cow's milk (pref. organic) is readily available?

Has anyone recently been on hols to Greece with a little one who can help? Or anyone living in Greece?

She is thinking about taking follow-on formula of not as they are only going for a week (her LO is 14 months)

Thanks

mummygirl if you return, how about Goat's milk in Zante? I will freeze a few cartons and wrap them in bubbly wrap and pack them, but will need to get some out there.

PDR I'm sure it is very unkind of me to think PFB, but tbh a week of non organic milk isn't going to do much harm.

marmaduke, I used to live on the mainland, so not sure what you'll find there, although Zante is a pretty big island so i'd expect that they stock everything they do on the mainland (as long ofcourse as you are in a main town with a good size supermarket).

I remember that there was always goat's milk in the sm fridge, it was in a brown bottle, but I never bought it so can't help you with the name, sorry.

Yes I'm sure she'll cope for a week!

I passed on the info anyway and if she wants to she can always buy follow on milk (which isn't organic anyway lol)!
