We may be moving to this area. I was wondering if any mumsnetters know it or even better live there. Would love a bit more info. Is it a 'mum friendly'..!What I mean is, socially, are there mums groups, children stuff etc. We have had a couple of moves recently and I would love to just settle somewhere nice! Thanks very much!!

I'm originally from just South of there, and I think it's a pretty quiet place. Hopefully some peeps who live there now, will be able to help you soon.

Hello,
I live about 10 miles south of Buntingford and I've found the general area to be fairly good in the year I've lived here but then I have just the one DS who's only 13 months so you may have different needs iykwim.
Sorry not much help but a bump for you.

Are any of you interested in hosting a childrens book party???
I live just outside of Buntingford and have recently started selling childrens books.
If you host a party for your friends you will get special offers and freebies! Well worth having a get together for.
Thank you
Melanie
