Newquay can anyone recommend reasonably priced accommodation please?
Rhiannon · 22/04/2003 15:46
Have just organised bargain flights to Newquay from Stansted over Whitsun from 27th -31st May. Can anyone recommend any accommodation, also need a hire car company.
Thanks

Girls, you have never let me down before.
Watergate bay is full, Bedruthan is too expensive. Any nice caravan parks around there?
Furball · 23/04/2003 21:24
Haven't been so can't comment but Haven , and Hoseasons are big enough names to give decent accomodation.

Not doing very well on this one, any more help please?

What about a holiday cottage company?? Like cottages4you.co.uk (or it could be a .com) or cottage-holidays.co.uk.
(ps Have you thought about taking a tent???? what about asking the Gina Ford lot if you can borrow the yurt??)

Had a burst of inspiration last night and looked at the stuff from our holidays last year. Here are some things that I found that might be useful:
www.ponsmere.co.uk (at perranporth)
www.classic.co.uk (cottages)
www.helpfulholidays.com (cottages and houses)
www.holidayguides.com (lots of different accomodation)
www.weststarholidays.co.uk (holiday parks)
Hope you can find something. Good luck!!

Thanks ladies, will start digging. I did find a hotel in Watergate bay, on the beach with a swimming pool. At £38 DBB my Mum said it was expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nightmare.

Have ended up booking The Hotel California! It sounds a bit cheesy but hope it's OK. We have a double bed and a single and a separate room with bunks so there should be enough room.
Thanks for all your help.

Hope you have a lovely time and that the weather is kind. Send us all a post card won't you??
bossykate · 01/05/2003 22:23

Rhiannon · 02/05/2003 18:49
bossykate, there was me thinking you live in Newquay for a minute! Doh! I get you now.
RockingRosebud · 31/05/2003 14:28
