Hello all,

Will be in Holland either in May or July, and would really appreciate recommendations of hotels near public transport and places of interest.

No particular preference as to city.

Dank u wel.

sorry that I cant recommend accomodation as we were staying with friends but 'Toverland' was amazing. Its in Sevenum near the German border. We went 2 years ago and the DC still talk about it. Great value for money & loads to do. check it out at www.toverland.nl

Have fun

We camped in Delft last summer, nice city and good public transport to other places in the Raandstadt. As we camped can't recomend hotel.

Have you been to the efteling - it is supposed to be really good.

Mumwhensdinnerready · 29/04/2009 18:59

I agree about Efteling although it was one of the few places where we had language difficulties as there were no translations for the rides. Made it more exciting not knowing what we were in for. It's a theme park with a very gothic feel to it.

efteling is fab we went a few years ago, a good disney antidote.

we had a lovely time in the veluwe (nice forest area) - stayed on a landal park called Rabbit Hill and it was near lots of things to see. Can recommend Apenheul and Burger Zoo.

Timmette, Mumwhensdinnerready, nd twinsetandpearls and lisasimpson - thanks a lot!
I'm off to "tripadvisor" Efteling.
