I saw in the small print on the First Choice website that for flights departing on or after 01 May 2009 children under the age of two, on the date of their return flight, will receive an individual luggage allowance of 10kg (22Ibs).

www.firstchoice.co.uk/help/luggage/baggage-allowance/

Does anyone know anything about this, and does it apply to other companies?

Easy Jet don't give you any luggage allowance for under 2s and beware they offer the choice to pay for a extra bag but that still means you only get the weight total for two adults just spread into 3 bags.

Just to confirm, I've been sent out tickets, and they have put on DS ticket (not paid for him) 10 kg baggeage allowance. Excellent!
