Walton on the Naze at high tide - is it worth it?

We're thinking of taking the children to Walton on the Naze on friday but high tide is at 11am :-( Is there enough beach for it to be worth it?

If not, can anybody recommend a quiet, sandy beach which is easy to get to (and park near) from East London?

Thank you!

Broadstairs I think, it is in Kent, is nice and sandy.

Frinton IMO is better than W-O-the N but you may get lots of weirdy people chatting to you about their beloved crossing gates!

Thank you! I've never gone to any beach for the day from East London before so am open to any ideas! The friends we're going with usually use W-O-the N so thats why we started with there. If there's no beach though it won't be much good! :-)

Mind you was having a think whilst I was making DH and DDs sarnies for tomorrow and it struck me that high tide at Walton will be same as at Frinton I think as they are a very short distance apart!
