Hi there,
I've just come back from a two week holiday in Tenerife, but I can assure you I will certainly check everything I've packed before I go away next time.
After our flight out there and then the coach to our hotel, my bf and I start unpacking, and to my horror, the bag I thought I'd put my knickers in wasn't there. Unfortunately, something we didn't know, but perhaps should have, was that because we arrived on a Saturday night, all the shops were going to be closed on Sunday, so I would have to wait til Monday to get some more, which I ended up doing. I was so angry with myself though, because even though I've forgotten my toothbrush before and shampoo, these are minor things to forget compared to knickers! My boyfriend just laughed at me when I told him, because he's usually so much more forgetful than me, but on this holiday he certainly wasn't! (note to self: make sure you pack knickers next time)
Oh well, I guess you live and learn...
