Ive stayed at Port Orleans. Staying on resort is excellent for transfers and extra hours, but the rooms are fairly compact.

We loved being 'on' disney though.

www.tripadvisor.com has both reviews and photos.

It is a motel by any other name (in that it does have external corridors) but with Disney's name attached to it.

Have a look at the disboards or the dibb, loads of trip reports, photos etc and if you cant find the answer to your question just ask and they are very helpful.
We are thinking of going to Disney in August 2010 but thinking of Port orleans as you get free disney dining.

Mumto2- where is the offer for free disney dining?

mumto2andnomore · 21/04/2009 22:24

disney.co.uk are offering it already for next year, think the other travel agents will follow suit soon

Never stayed there but did stay at Port Orleans and loved Riverside and French Quarter.

Staying on Disney property is fantastic, the buses pull up outside the door and take you to the parks and back FREE, perfect when the kids are exhausted and you stayed late at the parks, if you stay at Disney you get extra magic hours so can stay at the parks extra late or get in extra early before everyone else.

I don't have a bad thing to say about staying at a Disney hotel and can't see how All stars music resort will let you down. There are obviously differences in luxury between the resorts but the good value and service with smile will be the same.
