Help - Have finally narrowed down area to holiday but haven't been in this part of spain. Before I commit and book would appreciate any comments. Is it really British?? Would like a bit of the real Spain. Any comments welcome

Hi, it's not british at all - very Spanish with lovely cafes and bars serving wonderful tapas. No english bars although I have been to a great fish and chip restaurant that gets a lot of trade from the ex pat community. It's a lovely resort but very busy in August as that is when the Spanish go on hols and there are lots of holiday homes in Los Alcazares that only get used in August. The town do put extra cafes and bars on the beach though.

My Mum lives about 10km from Loz Alcazares but if they go out to eat they will go there or San javier as her village only has a couple of restrants.
