Theme park - good
Sea front - good, play parks every few hundred yards
Rest of resort - not exactly the most pretty
Transfer time for Reus airport - quick

Good for DS nearly 3?
Can you eat Spanish food there or is it burger and chips on every corner?

I'm thinking of going next summer with DD 8, DS 3 and new baby 10 months.

I expect it to be a bit chavvy nasty, but ideal for the kids (and mummys who like to drink )

waitingforgodot · 15/04/2009 14:44

yes....this mummy likes to drink!

Went 22yrs ago and it was horrific, might have cleaned up its act but

Cambrils is, I think, the next town along. This is very pleasant with a lovely beach and lovely Spanish food.

DH spent the summer working in a bar there in the 70s. He said it was Southend with sun even then.

We went in Sept and absolutly loved it. It was tidy, not too quiet but not to noisy.

We are going back at the end of May.

Oh and it wasn't chavvy
