Just back from a brilliant week's holiday in La Palma. Can't recommend highly enough for family with young kids, ours are 5 yr old twins. 9 swimming pools to choose from - none of them ever seemed to have more than a couple of people in. Quite a tropical setting with palm trees and banana plantations. Hired car from local company at hotel, and drove around to black sand beaches. Food ace - buffet - so kids loved it all just a problem holding us parents back from it... not sure how I will cope with just cereal for breakfast. We booked with Thomson and I think will go again. Hotel was La Palma Princess.
