A few days away in the sun without kids!

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a good place for us to head to as a couple whilst dd's are at grandparents (lucky us!)? We'll have 4-5 nights and want sun and beach as a priority. Budget is fairly tight - was thinking cheapish flight to Spain or France and then B&B or pensione.

If anyone can remember that far back would be really grateful for suggestions :-)

Corfu? We stayed at the Dassia Chandris which was lovely, fairly close to Corfu Town.

South of France, or even better the south west, Biarritz is lovely

When? I'd head for Majorca personally... or Corsica!

venice/ Stay out on the lido then you'll have the beach but also have romantic venice on tap!! Loads to see and do - and fab food and wine! Depends when you want to go tho for sunshine but you can get cheap easyjet flights.

Malta?

Sardinia?

Could go on and on and on....
