1st holiday in 6 years - Cornwall - Cheap suggestions pleas......

We haven't had a holiday in the last 6 years due to 2 kids, and 2 house renovations. But this year we would really like to get away for a week. Whoooeeeee.....

Something easy like Cornwall - any suggestions would be great.

My DS are 2 and 4 - so child friendly is a must.

Newquay - there's lots nearby, Eden Project, Zoo, Legoland place then there's the beach Park Dean holidays have a holiday resort (a smaller version of butlins) just on the outskirts. It is up a hill but if you don't want to drive anywhere there is a bus stop just at the bottom of the small hill outside the entrance to the resort. Takes about ten mins to get to bus "station". We went before ds was born (5 years ago) and loved it. Are considering taking DS but the drive is far too long (about nine hours - we live in the North East) and it costs just as much to go abroad if we fly to Newquay (about £300 for flights!)

What sort of thing are you looking for? Caravan, cottage, camping, hotel?
