any good for 5 yo who doesnt especially like rides?? been offered 2 adult tickets for £30 for 20th may and vouchers for half price kids.!

That's a good bargain - but your 5yo won't get much out of it I'm afraid. The gardens are lovely, there are some play areas ... but unless you're going there for the rides for yourselves, not really worth it.
