Toddler friendly sunshine - where in June?

We have finally decided on two weeks in June for our holiday with 20 month ds. Just need to decide where! My problem is that I can't settle on one place and spend hours trawling random websites...
We want sun, good food, toddler friendly and no more than about two hour flight. Beach would be nice but not essential.
Is Italy a good bet? ANyone recommend accomodation/location? Budget about £500 - £600 a week.

we've been to Eurocamp in June for the past 2 years here and its absolutely fantastic - we would be going this year except baby is due 18th June.

we first went when ds1 was 13months and then the next year when he was 2 and ds2 was 6 months. If you go out of school holiday you get travel cots and high cahirs free and they seem to be having some money off deals too. We got the ferry Portsmounth to St Malo (overnight on way there and during day on way back) I'd recommend getting a cabin too (the first year we went to Cherbourg and drove but its a long drive so I prefer the longer ferry and then couple of hours driving)
Its very toddler friendly, they have a play tent too full of toys for pre schoolers/painting etc - we packed loads of toys the first year we went but didn't bother the second year as they have everything you need, even buckets and spades to borrow.

weather has been great both years, we stayed in the tent (its not real camping you get stove and electric fridge and way more room than in a mobile home) Beach and pool is lovely and v toddler friendly

we'll be going back next year - friends of ours have been to similar sites in Italy but not sure which, might be worth a search if you fancy going further a field

thanks, I hadn't really thought about camping- assumed he was too young and too much of a handful! I will look nto some sites in Italy - anyone recommend any?

here is fantastic! get cheap flights to marco Polo airport (venice) and get the local bus/coach which stops outside the campsite. You won't need to hire a car. It is fab!!! And you can visit venice for the day! there'sa good water park in caorle (town 20 mins away on bus) which has good facilities for toddlers. I liked it so much we're going back this year!

We had a nice time in Greek island of Zante. Sun, sea, white sand. We paid about £150 inc flights for 7 nights S/C.

June is VERY cheap, you should be able to get a cheap deal no problems.

Totally biased recommendation of my cottages in Northern Spain - the flight is 1h 40m, it should be hot but not boiling, incredibly child-friendly, lots of gorgeous beaches, some cottages are in farms and June is low season. Is that good enough?

Mark Warner, San Luciano, Corsica.

We went here with Canvas when dd was 2.5. It was great and we never set foot of the site in a week.

Le Lavandou in the South of France is very pretty and with lots of huge sandy beaches. Close to Toulon airport.
