Has anyone been to Dalaman in Turkey?

Someone I work with has an apartment there and could be a good cheap holiday for us?
Dont know much about the place other than it is where the airport is.
Just wondering if it is OK?

went there years ago and it was lovely. seem to remember that you had to take a boat ride to get to the beach though, but wasn't a problem as we had a pool at the apartments.

It was nice and relaxed and very hot when we went in June

Dalaman is a different place to Dalyan.

Dalaman - main town with airport
Dalyan - about 30 minutes away, turtles, river boats to the beach, lovely place.

I'm going with my MIL, DH, DSS who is 5, DS who is 2 and DD who is 11 months
