Have been chatting to DD about it and we think we would like to look into doing it in summer 2010. She will be 7 1/2 then.
We volunteer at home now - conservation . beach clean-ups and the like- and am researching opportunities in the UK for our summer hols this year - again, conservation type projects.
I would like to hear feedback from anyone who has volunteered in UK or abroad with a child.
Did you go independently? Or with a company/charity?
As a single parent family with limited income, I cant afford more than £1k (and even then I think maybe it would be better to donate the money...Im torn!)
