I am probably going to sound like an ott paranoid parent here stifling my DC's holiday but I was in Lloyds chemist the other day and saw this little teddy bear alarm thing you attach to your child and it beeps loudly when you press the 'caller' bit. On the box it had a load of stats re children going missing in airports and in busy resorts which got me panicking!!! I didn't actually buy them though.

So... I have 2 DC 3.6 and 22 months im packing a first aid kit with calpol, ibuprofen, anti hystimine, hdyocortizone cream, savlon, jungle formula, plasters and bandage!

Also taking reigns for DD, should we get a wrist strap for DS in airport? what about dog tags with name and our mobile no.s?

We have a villa and have hired a stairgate and will not let them near the pool without us and armbands?

Have I forgotten anything?

Suncream!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hats

Wrist strap you can buy from PoundLand. 2 in a packet.

I dont think Dog Tags are necessary. Put a piece of paper in thier pockets when your out with the name/DOB/allergies/address of villa and contact No for yourself so if they or one of them get lost someone will know where to take them or who to call etc...

I hope if you but the teddy bear alarm that someone doesnt mistake it for a bomb in the aiport!

Take small 'life jackets' for both as well as armbands. You can buy them from swimming pools/centres near you hopefully. If not they will sell them at airport. My mum used to put my Brother in one when he was 2 for extra safety as hed never actually go under the water with it on.
