Recommendations for short stay in Paris in October with my 12 yr old DD??

I'm thinking of having a little trip in October half term, to Paris with my DD age 12- she has never been to France and is really enjoying learning the language since she started at secondary school in Sept!

Too expensive to take the whole family but i can stretch to a few days there with just her, especially as DH happy to stay home with the other 2 DCs.

Would it be really expensive and/or claustrophobic in a hotel room with my DD for a couple of nights? can anyone recommend anywhere? I have stayed in a rented appartment in Paris but that would be quite pricy I think.

Hope someone can come up with any suggestions? thanks!!

Have stayed in a few places in Paris. The best ones I stayed in, in terms of value, area and cleanliness were Le Royal Montparnasse and the Mercure Your Eiffel, both had breakfast included. Both were in really good areas with great markets and lots of cafes nearby (for cheap eats away from the main drag).

Both are a little tiny bit out of the centre but have metros nearby so it is very easy to get around, plus you get a real feel for the real Paris and not just the tourist areas. Both have really nice rooms and great service. You know what Paris is like, some of the hotels can be a bit grubby or in bad areas, so I can recommend those two, they both feel really safe and would defo go back to either
